I was born in North Lincolnshire, read history and theology at York St John, and was ordained as a Continuing Anglican clergyman in the UK in 1994 after studying at Holyrood Seminary, NY. I came to the USA in 1999, and have been Rector of St Paul's Anglican Church, Prescott, Arizona since November 2002, and was consecrated as a Bishop of the United Episcopal Church January 10 2009. I served as a suffragan bishop from January to November 2009, then became Bishop of the (revived) Missionary District of the West. I became Presiding Bishop of the United Episcopal Church in September 2010.
